Gesha is a varietal of coffee arabica renowned for pleasant sweetness and prominent floral notes as well as its rarity. Intensive farming practices are required to grow and harvest the Gesha varietal, which originated in Ethiopia and travelled to Central America in the 1960’s. A delicious coffee and resistance to leaf rust are the tradeoff for the low yield of the plant.

These delicate coffees are best brewed with a filter method (drip machine, pourover).

Flavor notes: cherry cola, honey, black tea
